In php script, if echo "<a></a>" it render as html elementas we understand it, but when doing in php, $str=htmlentities("<a></a>"); then $str=html_entity_decode($str); $str is not equal to "<a></a>", $str is string. why that is not HTML element

I would like to replace JFrame coding by Japplet. Since I want to display chart result into
webpage in IE. instead of on standlone chart result on JFrame window.
THe FinanceDemo.java file is attached which is standalone java program using JFlame to display the chart result. I have modified the code and used Japplet at java.swing.* instead of Applet java.applet.* that should okay , RIght ? Both are similar ? After the following modification in the orginal code of "FinanceDemo.java" I have passed javac and java command without any error with -classpath=" vendor_chart .jar;." included
I have modified all code as dollows :
1-public class FinanceDemo extends JFrame by public class FinanceDemo extends JApplet
2- I delete the code for close JFlame windows coding like as follows

3- I deleted the code for pack() which is for re-size the Frame

I have looked into the all code of FinanceDemo.java. Besides item1-4 I modfiied
the rest of the code should be no any issue at all for Japplet. The code could be re-used. I am looking into drawChart(chartViewer1) function in the code; there should be compatiable to Japplet.
If possilbe, please point out my mistake and direction to solve code from Jframe to Japplet.
Be Reminded the modified code is passed everything besides no display in
Applet windows by Appletviewer. Only blank Applet windows is on. Please kindly
advise it.
