Hi,
I have a windows 7 64bit o/s, When I try to play a Youtube video from Chrome the audio works once and then stops. I deleted chrome and retried it and I have the same issue.
I have a similar issue with Firefox and sound, plus most of the time the videos dont work.
I tried reinstalling flash player and also downgrading it to version 13. It started working again and then stopped.
Thank you

Does that mean you had hardware problem?
There is no real answer that solved it for you, aside form mentioning possible failing hardware.
It's ok with me if you just delete this avib27
Glad you resolved it.
cheers

Ok thanks..reinstalling windows may help you determine if it is a hardware problem.

thank you for the suggestions,
but we still have not come up with a conclusion.. we ended up buying a usb to audio adapter and it works fine.. I have to wipe the computer now in the next few days so I will let you know.

Hi, can you recall when you started to have this problem across browsers?
Difficult to determine the cause without more details.
The fact it starts and then stops does imply a failing device?
If you have head phones plugged lose cable?
Your windows version is that windows 7? x32 or x64?
Is this a laptop or desktop?
Laptops are subject to heat, have you checked the vents for dust?
Is it elevated off the table with a book?
Have you looked in your device manager/audio> see any problem devices?
Have you installed any multimedia software?
Video capture devices that may effect your system?
Can you play music ok on your system?
Are you seeing any messages your flash player needs updating?

Did you scan registry and virus with free tools at https://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/ ?
If so, update your audio driver that will be compatibility to your window system with flash
