I copied the jsp file in xampphtdocs folder but i get that error. Is there any thing I am missing? Thanks

create jsp folder at C:xampp omcatwebapps and save your jsp.file in C:xampp omcatwebappsjsp

are you sure that file is saved as .jsp? In your screen it shows "Active Server Pages"

To run jsp with XAMPP you need to place your .jsp files in the webapps directory of your tomcat folder within your xampp installation folder.
