Hi
I was trying to install Citrix access gateway plug-in for Mac OX
I am not able to restart macbook or kill the process. I have tried to kill it from activity monitor ( Install in Progress) forcibly also. But no luck
Error window I see as
" The application install in progress canceled restart
To Try again , quit install in Progress and choose Restart from the Apple menu. "
another window says:
Your computer can't be restarted now, because software is being installed .
Running packing scripts.. "
THis I am seeing from last week, it neither completing nor letting me to kill the process.
I see this problem most of the time, this is some annoying in mac book it is not very user friendly.
Please help to kill this process
And also more tips to use mac book are most welcome in this post

Hi All
I have found my solution :)
I have tried below command from Mac Terminal and it worked like a charm :
"sudo shutdown -h now"

which version of access gateway plugin you are using. i had nightmares with citrix. watch out as once you install the plugin your normal vpn might stop working specially when ethernet cables plugged in.

You can kill the process either by pulling down the Apple Menu to Force Quit, or going to /Applications/Utilities and opening Activity Monitor and using it to kill the process.
