Hi,
Good any.. looking for some quick any easy formula.
Is there a formula where can calculate the week number of current month by given a date. As you know, every month there difference week number. I know excel weeknum function can do this, however, it is not the desired output i need. What I need are as follows.
E.g
Given date output
1 Aug --> 1st week
5 Aug ---> 2nd week
2 Sep ---> 1st week.

I know the question is answered (nice answer Duncanb7) but just as an alternative you can also get the same results with this formula
=INT((13+DAY(A1)-WEEKDAY(A1))/7)
