Topic:
Windows 8;;
The last 2-3 weeks I been noticing my computer stops responding randomly. Sometimes when it stays on for maybe 3 days , unable to press CTRL ALT DEL (nothing happens) ... cannot right click Task Bar to open Task Manager.
Need to hard reboot.
Today I found this error in Event Viewer - System :
Error 7/28/2013 7:35:04 PM sptd 4 None
"Driver detected an internal error in its data structures for ."
also :
Warning 7/28/2013 7:36:35 PM Kernel-PnP 219 (212)
"The driver DriverWudfRd failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRootUMB2&37c186b&0&STORAGE#VOLUME#_??_USBSTOR#DISK&VEN_GENERIC-&PROD_SM#XD-PICTURE&REV_1.02#058F63646476&2#."
and :
Error 7/28/2013 7:38:05 PM Service Control Manager 7000 None
___________________________________________________
Any idea what could be issue? What else can I check / try?
Thanks

Why not do system recovery on window to set back the system for one week ago, it might be false error created by virus ? During recovery, the folder content will be kept I think

The Microsoft Community Link implicates USB drivers. Did you unplug or change a USB key?

It also suggests updating drivers via Windows Updates and you might look there to see if any driver updates are available.
Also look in Action Center, Reliability Monitor. Are these errors showing up in Reliability Monitor and are they more explicit?
