ff works.. but ie has quit bringing back any pages.. could any of the files be corrupted? if so, it is a user fault?or a virus/malware attack?
ie version is 10.0.9200.16635
there is no error message.. just a blank white screen, regardless of what website you put in.
how would you fix this?

Check the anti-virus software firewall setting

Did you use proxy IE ?
Just disable it on IE option-->tools-->Internet-->Connection--> LAN setting
And check auto detection setting and disable proxy
And restart computer
